Consignment Agreement

This Consignment Agreement is entered into by, and between, you as a Consignor of Front & Company, and Front & Company Enterprises Ltd., located at 3772 Main Street, Vancouver, BC V5V 3N7. This Agreement governs the consignment of goods by you, the Consignor, to us, Front & Company, under the terms and conditions set forth below.

Initial Assessment

·         You must remain on premises for the duration of the Initial Assessment.

·         We reserve the right to not select any item for consignment.

Disposition of Unselected Items

·         You must pick up all items not selected for consignment on the same day you drop them off.

·         If you do not collect these items, we will dispose of them without notice or compensation.

Consigned Items & Selling Terms

·         We will appraise, record, and manage all selected items under your account.

·         Items will be sold for a minimum period of 60 days and may be retained for up to 6 months.

·         Items are typically listed at full price for the first 30 days and then marked down by 20% for the following 30 days.

·         Further markdowns may be applied at our discretion based on condition, promotional events, or seasonality.

·         We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage during the consignment period.

Ownership Verification & Item Authenticity

·         You confirm full ownership and authenticity of all consigned items.

·         We return items that cannot be authenticated, and we charge you a $50 processing fee for such items. 

·         These items must be picked up within one week of notification.

·         We will dispose unclaimed items without compensation.

Consignor-Initiated Item Withdrawal & Contract Termination

·         A $5 fee per item will apply for any early withdrawal requests made by you.

·         A $50 fee will apply if you request the withdrawal of all active items, which will constitute termination of this agreement.

·         Fees are deducted from your account balance or proceeds.

Proceeds and Payout Terms

·         You receive 40% of the selling price by cheque or 50% if choose store credit (applied at checkout).

·         Your account proceeds must be claimed within 6 months of the sale date of your items.  

Disposition of Unsold Items

·         All unsold items will be donated after the consignment period

·         Donated items may be sold at our Rummage Sales, with net proceeds directed to local charities of our choice. 

Staying Informed and Connected

·         We provide the Consignment Portal to support communication and account visibility.

·         You are responsible for monitoring your account activity.

·         You must maintain accurate and up-to-date contact information, including a valid email address and login credentials, to ensure uninterrupted communication.

Agreement Execution and Acceptance

This Agreement may be updated by us from time to time and supersedes all previous agreements. Continuing to consign items at Front & Company signifies agreement to the latest terms.
